Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-26

MotoDoc is operated by CARDIGITAL - FZCO, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“MotoDoc”, “we”, “us”). Contact: support@motodoc.ai

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and CARDIGITAL - FZCO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and govern your use of the MotoDoc app and this website. By creating an account or using MotoDoc you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Who you are contracting with

MotoDoc is provided by CARDIGITAL - FZCO, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at [email protected]. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to enter into a binding contract.

Licence to use MotoDoc

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use MotoDoc on devices you own or control, for your own motorcycle maintenance and repair questions. Where you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, this licence is granted subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/, whose terms apply to you in addition to these Terms and prevail over them in case of conflict.

Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

MotoDoc offers a free tier and auto-renewable subscriptions. Rider is sold weekly, monthly or yearly; Workshop is sold yearly. The price and billing period of each plan are shown in the app before you purchase, in your local currency. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your store account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are handled by the store you purchased from, under that store's policy — we cannot issue or administer them.

Acceptable use

Use MotoDoc for your own motorcycle questions. Do not resell or redistribute the answers as a competing service, scrape or bulk-extract content, attempt to circumvent limits, paywalls or authentication, reverse engineer the app except where that right cannot be excluded by law, upload unlawful content or someone else's personal data, or use the service to build a competing model or dataset. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

AI answers: accuracy and safety

MotoDoc generates answers with AI, grounded in service documentation. Answers can still be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and figures may not match your exact model, market or model year. Always verify torque values, fluid specifications and any safety-critical procedure against the official manufacturer documentation, and consult a qualified mechanic for work you are not equipped to carry out safely. MotoDoc is an information tool — it is not a substitute for professional advice, and you remain responsible for the work you perform on your motorcycle.

Your content and ours

You keep ownership of the content you submit — your questions, photos and garage. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service: to store your content, transmit it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and display it back to you. The app, the website, our branding and the compiled reference database remain our property or that of our licensors. Manufacturer names, model names and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the motorcycle you are asking about; MotoDoc is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a source of official documentation from any manufacturer.

Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep MotoDoc available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; we may modify, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature materially, we will tell you in advance. We may update these Terms; the date at the top of this page shows the last change, and material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use MotoDoc after that means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You may stop using MotoDoc at any time and delete your account in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. On termination your licence ends; the sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — continue to apply.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MotoDoc is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of the information provided. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for damage to a vehicle, property or person resulting from work carried out on the basis of an answer you did not verify against official documentation. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, and consumers keep their mandatory statutory rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
